Mural Works: Turning Walls Into Windows
Large scale paintings can become portals to imagine new possibilities! In this demonstration we will explore some of the common practical techniques used in mural painting and discuss how intentionality in large public work can nourish a local community.
Dan has painted over 100 murals since he began his artist journey in the Fall of 2008.
He began spray painting while pursuing a technical degree in aviation, and upon graduation, determined that his love for the creative process would ultimately drive the course of his life more than his formal education.
As a self-taught artist, Dan has spent the last 15 years creating public murals for commercial owned and city organized projects across the country. He currently works out of Denton, TX, where he lives with his wife Sarah.
