VAST coordinates a number of exhibitions each year.

Each exhibition contributes uniquely to the mission and goals of VAST. An overview of each exhibition is provided on this page.

Exhibition funding is provided in part by entry fees and contributions from sponsors. VAST receives generous cash and merchandise awards from local individuals, businesses, and national fine artist materials companies.

175 – Mile Exhibition

VAST created this exhibition to reinstate our long tradition of showcasing 2D and 3D juried artwork from DFW to southern Oklahoma.

Artists living within 175 miles of Denton, TX are eligible to enter this exhibition.

This exhibition currently takes place at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center. (note that the specific gallery changes each year and will be listed in the current prospectus)

VAST Member Exhibition

VAST sponsors this annual event to offer its members an important opportunity to enter their work in a juried exhibition that showcases members only.

The exhibit provides an excellent venue for the North Texas community to appreciate the high quality and diverse nature of art produced by area artists.
