VASTLegacy Lifetime Society Membership Form The Visual Arts Society of Texas (VAST) was founded in 1975 as the Denton Area Arts and Crafts League. The name was soon changed to North Texas Area Arts League and then to the North Texas Area Art League (NTAAL). It operated under this name until 2006 when the name was changed to the Visual Arts Society of Texas (VAST). VAST has been a well-respected, premier art organization whose mission is exemplified by the board of directors and members’ tireless commitment to continue to provide quality programs, exhibitions, and opportunities that proudly adhere to the mission. ARTISTS AND COMMUNITY CONNECTING TO CREATE AND CELEBRATE VISUAL ARTS Vast was established non-profit status in 2006. To become a Lifetime Legacy Society member, you agree to support the mission of the Visual Art Society of Texas (VAST), and contribute in a way designed to assist in the promotion of the mission. VAST Legacy Lifetime members are people who believe in the VAST organization. Their commitment expands continuing opportunities for artists in building lifetime friendships with other artists, expanding knowledge in the arts and providing ongoing opportunities for artists to be recognized at levels reflecting their talents and dedication to their craft. Box 1281, Denton, TX 76202 All VAST Legacy Lifetime Society base member fees are tax deductible. Ongoing opportunities are available to upgrade your base membership level. Contributions are cumulative and recognitions will be made upon reaching the next level. All Lifetime Legacy Society members will pay a yearly $100 membership fee.
